Have you ever wanted to just take off and see the world? What stopped you? Nothing's stopping Ramon Stoppelenburg. Like many students, Ramon wanted to travel extensively while life still afforded him the opportunity. Also like many students, he lacked the funds to do so. Inspired by the web site www.sendmeadollar.com, Ramon decided to beg nor for cash, but for places to stay.
Tulsa's Kite Gypsy

E.W. Redmond is Tulsa's own Kite Gypsy, and the world-record holder for consecutive days of kite flying - as of the Solstice on December 22, 1999, he'd flown for 721 consecutive days. For each flight, E.W. recruits a lucky witness who is presented with that day's kite as a remembrance.
