Succubus
by Raven

As morning usurps the night,
              Pale fingers reach for me.
Sleep lingers; consciousness lurks,
              the edge of reality undefined.
Wrapped in a state of suggestiveness
              Inter-woven with desire,
Unknowingly I invoke your presence;
              A succubus in your image.
Touch, taste and scent coalesce;
              Replicating your design.
Defining curves, colors and texture,
              Rendered true by fevered soul.
Love's eye inspecting form,
              Indulging in your outline.
Listening to whispered breath,
              Heart beat; your rhythm.
Entwined with your re-creation
              Inhaling your uniqueness.
Tasting velvet, parting silk;
              Stimulating my hunger.
Desire's abrasions building tempo;
              Passion's heat fanning need.
Quivering; your lips wetly part,
              Trembling I reach for you.
Racing heartbeats pound in time,
              To serpentine caresses.
Gasping ardor's scented air,
              I murmur your name.
Startled; fully consciousness;
              I lie alone, afire.
Gently, I close my mind's eye,
              Imprisoning my ardor.
