aching thighs
bruised legs
happy body, happy mind, happy
memories of the cause, of
the time spent - foolish, clumsy, careless,
caring
more about being impressive than being impressed
then
realizing
the simple pleasure of
caring yet
not caring
wanting not
needing
feeling, giving, taking
being
there, then, completely
nobody else, nothing else
just
flesh to flesh, warmth to warmth, pleasure
to pleasure, to please, to feel
to have and to hold
long enough
just long enough to have
to feel
to be
there
